Course Details:
Plumbing assessment (pipework skills etc for those with no experience or skills to gain access into pathway course)
Gas pathway course 4 weeks or 150 hours
Portfolio to be obtained by your self advice will be given on how to achieve this
ACS Gas assessment
Appliance Training:
CCN1 – Core Safety
CEN1 – Central Heating Boilers
MET1 – Meters
CKR1 – Domestic Cookers
HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
WAT1 – Water Heaters

4 weeks
Who should attend:
Anyone interested in training to be a gas engineer.
Experience:
None however before entering in to the Pathway to gas you will need to undertake a plumbing/introductory to gas training course with us if you have no experience at all if you do have experience but no qualifications you would need to show us evidence such as invoices of jobs or references.
Accommodation:
We have negotiated a great rate with some local B&B allowing students to train with us from all over the country, we are within easy access to all motorways, railroads and airports, transport can be laid on to pick you up from these.

Course objectives:
On successful completion of the Pathway to Gas course, candidates will be eligible to enter ACS assessment once candidates have successfully completed it will allow them to join the Gas Safe Register.
What do I need to bring?
Basic tools and overalls are provided on course you may want to purchase a Gas Engineers tool kit from us. A mobile canteen sells a selection of hot and cold food at lunch time.

If candidates fail to achieve the required level of competency in either the practical or theory assessment, it may be necessary for them to re-sit the sections which they have failed. An additional cost may be incurred.
