Unlicensed gas fitter put lives in danger

A Welsh Gas fitter could have killed several people, by putting their lives at risk with shoddy unlicensed gas work.

Christopher Bradshaw of Tywyn was caught working on gas piping and boilers without a proper license.

After pleading guilty of 14 charges he was fined a total of £38,000 and then also received an additional fine of £10,000 for carrying out dangerous work.

Fitters who try and work beyond their assessed competence are not only breaking the law but could also cost lives.
